Role Overview:

As an eBay Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing our online sales presence on eBay and similar platforms, such as Etsy. Your responsibilities will include drafting and posting item listings, incorporating visuals, tracking sales activities, conducting research, and assisting with bookkeeping tasks. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for e-commerce. 

Key Responsibilities:

  

1.     Item Listing Management:  

  • Draft engaging and accurate posts for items to sell on eBay and other platforms.
  • Incorporate high-quality photos provided by the team into listings to enhance visual appeal. 


2.    Sales Tracking:  

  • Track all posts, including upload dates, special promotions, and auction timelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of items listed, including performance metrics and sales data.


3.     Delivery Tracking:

  • Monitor and track deliveries of sold items to ensure timely shipping and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate any delivery issues to the team and customers as needed.


4.    Item Descriptions:   

  • Write detailed and compelling descriptions of items for sale, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Ensure that all descriptions are accurate and aligned with the brand voice.


5.    Research and Summaries:  

  • Conduct general research on items to determine market value, trends, and competitive pricing.
  • Provide summaries and insights based on research findings to inform pricing and marketing strategies.


6.    Bookkeeping and Accounting Support:

  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including tracking sales, expenses, and inventory.
  • Prepare general accounting reports and summaries for management review.


7.     Customer Communication:  

  • Respond to customer inquiries and messages promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Address any issues related to listings, deliveries, or payments in a professional manner.


8.     Collaboration:  

  • Work closely with team members to align on sales strategies and marketing efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
